Join Us for the 2012 Sangha Appreciation Event
Benefit for All Beings and the Dzogchen Retreat Center
To commemorate the conclusion of the 5th Annual Dzogchen Lineage Internship and to celebrate the success of the Dzogchen Retreat Center USA, the Dzogchen Shri Singha Foundation is very pleased to invite all Sangha members, friends, donors, and communities to the first annual 2012 Sangha Appreciation Reception. This is a precious opportunity to gather with sangha and His Eminence Dzogchen Khenpo Rinpoche for an evening of rejoicing in all of our virtuous Dharma activities and to find out about upcoming Dzogchen Lineage projects.
The 2012 Sangha Appreciation Reception will be held on Saturday, October 27th, 2012 at 5:00 PM, at
Ring Of Fire
1099 Chambers Street
Eugene, OR 97402
Map and Directions
This reception will be a $35 per plate fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting the Foundation’s upcoming publishing projects.
The goal of the Dzogchen Retreat Center USA is the establishment of a permanent place where all people can eradicate destructive emotions and negative thinking, the root of suffering in this world. By bringing the ancient wisdom of Dzogchen Lineage methods to the modern world, the retreat center is a proven training ground for this and future generations. These unique methods increase personal happiness, foster social harmony, and plant the seeds for world peace.
“Since acquiring the property in 2007, we’ve accomplished so much, “ says John Sullard, President of the Dzogchen Shri Singha Foundation. “We feel it’s time to honor those who have made this all possible, all of our past, present, and future donors. It’s also a great opportunity to share some of our exciting upcoming projects that are now gaining momentum thanks to everyone’s support and generosity.”
Our venue, Ring of Fire, is one of Eugene’s finest restaurants, offering exceptional Thai cuisine. The evening’s festivities will include presentations honoring Sangha members, musical entertainment, a silent auction, and a raffle.
