About the Retreat Topic
The retreat topic this year is, "Cultivating Peace of Mind in Changing Times:
Strengthening Our Practice Through Purification and Visualization.
The past few decades have seen more changes to human society than any other time in history. Fortunately Buddha's core teachings focus on the fact that life is impermanent, and that change is inevitable. He provided his students a rich set of tools to coping with all types of change. These techniques and the teachings to support them have been handed down to us by many unbroken chains of teachers to students from the time of the historical Buddha to the present moment.
In addition to the main retreat topic, the teachings will also encompass the pith instructions found in The Buddha Path. These profound methods help one to eradicate negative thinking, and increase positive thinking through the understanding, experiencing, and realizing of one’s own nature, which is true happiness, or vast awakening.
Please read more and register now for the Dzogchen Spring Retreat.
Buddha’s Blessings to you!
