2007 Autumn Retreat at the DRC

Attendees to the 2009 Dzogchen Urban Winter Retreat in Las Vegas, Nevada

Registration is now open for the 8th annual Dzogchen Winter Retreat taught by H.E. Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche. The retreat, hosted by Dzogchen Bodhi Temple of Las Vegas, will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Las Vegas.

The retreat topics will be: Healthy Healing Through Medicine Buddha Initiation, Accumulating Wealth Through Practicing Dzambhala, and Increasing Wisdom Through Meditating on Four Noble Truths.

The teachings will also encompass the pith instructions found in The Buddha Path. These profound methods help one to eradicate negative thinking, and increase positive thinking through the understanding, experiencing, and realizing of one’s own nature, which is true happiness, or vast awakening.

For retreat details, costs, and registration information, visit the 2010 Dzogchen Urban Winter Retreat site.

Register Now!

Registration will be open until December 19, 2010. However, space is limited, so you are encouraged to register as soon as possible to ensure your reservation. The retreat fee does not include room and board. Local residents may overnight at their homes. Out-of-town guests should register and then book your room at the Hilton Garden Inn Las Vegas by December 10 to secure the special room rate. The One Dollar Miracle

A Dzogchen Retreat Center Fundraising Drive

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
~ Margaret Mead, American anthropologist (1901 - 1978)

Please join The One Dollar Miracle Fund Drive

Great things are accomplished by many people doing small things. And rather than ask a few people to make large donations, we’re calling on all sangha, friends, and others to just give one dollar a day. That’s right just ONE DOLLAR PER DAY.

Our goal is to gather 365 people to give one dollar a day for the next 365 days. That will result in over 133,000 dollars raised in one year, with $65,000 being raised in time to pay off the final loan and $65,000 to fund next year’s internship program and other projects.

Think about it. For just one-fourth the price of a latte or the price of an MP3 per day, you can help contribute to the success of the Dzogchen lineage. This is truly a one dollar miracle.

Two Ways You Can Help

One, please make a donation through our website and join The Circle of Compassion, our online recurring donation program. Please sign up for the $1 per day level of giving, or $30 per month. If you can give more, please do. It will help us accomplish our goals even quicker.

Help us create a One Dollar Miracle and join The Circle of Compassion at:

http://www.dzogchenlineage.org/giving/

Two, mail a one-time or annual check for $365 dollars or write a monthly check, for $30 every month, to:

Dzogchen Shri Singha Foundation USA
3325 Commerce St. Ste. 111-442
Eugene, OR 97402

Make checks payable to the DSSF. Write in the memo area “One Dollar Miracle” to help us track donations.

Any amount is greatly appreciated. May we all remember that generosity is the root of wealth!
