Saga Dawa Recap
The teachings, events, and Fire Puja at the Dzogchen Retreat Center on Wednesday June 18th were a resounding success. Honoring the enlightenment and parinirvana of Buddha Shakyamuni, the days events were well attended and concluded with an important Dakini fire puja that cleared away negativities in preparation for the upcoming Dzogchen Internship Program.
The new fire pit allows for larger ceremonies in a safe and inspiring environment. This new facility will set the stage for more of these auspicious ceremonies.

Independence Day Fire Puja with Lama Wangdu
July 4, 2008
Join us for a spectacular Fire Puja this Fourth of July at the Dzogchen Retreat Center. Tonight we celebrate the Declaration of Independence with a powerful launch of our summer retreat and Six-Month Dzogchen Internship Program.
Helping us clear all obstacles and celebrate is the renowned Chod Master Lama Wangdu. Chod is a vajrayana practice that utterly cuts through ego-clinging and is recognized as a healing practice that also pacifies environmental conditions. Lama Wangdu upholds the Shi-je, or pacification of suffering, lineage of Padampa Sangye and considered the last yogi in his lineage to have completed the entire traditional training.
While this event takes place on the evening of the beginning of the Summer Retreat, all sangha is invited to participate. Please contact John Sullard at: johnsullard@gmail.com
