Keep in mind that this is high-season for Las Vegas with a peak number of people in town for New Year's celebrations. Therefore it is advisable to book your hotel and flights as soon as possible. Many hotels and flights will become full as the holidays approach.
The Retreat Hotel
The Hilton Garden Inn Las Vegas Strip South hotel is located on "The Strip" along South Las Vegas Boulevard, about 2.5 Miles South of Mandalay Bay and only 4 miles from LAS (McCarran International Airport). Your accommodations during the retreat are not included in your retreat fees. You'll need to arrange your accommodations without the assistance of the retreat director. However, we have secured a special group rate at the Hilton, details below.
Complimentary shuttle to and from McCarran International Airport, Mandalay Bay and Town Square is provided by the Hilton.
Conveniently located, the Hilton Garden Inn Las Vegas, Nevada hotel is close to the airport and local attractions without the distractions. The Hilton is within easy walking distance to the Las Vegas Outlet Center, the largest outlet mall in the region. It is only minutes away from the new Town Square shopping center, UNLV, Thomas & Mack Center, and Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

How to Get the Discounted Hotel Rate
To take advantage of the discounted group rate of $79+tax per night, retreatants can make reservations online at lasvegasstripsouth.stayhgi.com or by calling hotel reservations at 702-453-7830. In order to get the group pricing, those making reservations should use the code "DBT." The cut-off date for the discounted group rate is December 22, 2010. If you are coming by yourself, but hope to save money by sharing a room with other retreatants (and splitting the room charge), please contact other sangha members or the retreat director to see if this can be arranged.
